Personal Update

As you have probably noticed, my posting has been spotty at best lately! Most of that is due to the fact that it's SUMMER! With both of my kids home, tons of family vacations going on, and no air conditioning in our house, I haven't had much time with my computer.

I appreciate all of my readers so much and hope that you will check out my favorite blogs for current deals when I fail to post them here! I promise that I will try to keep up more faithfully once our vacations are past.

Do You Buy the Sunday Oregonian?

For those of us Oregonian readers in the Portland metro area, we have the opportunity to influence some change. The writers of one of the blogs I follow, Frugal Living NW, has been in contact with the Circulation Director at The Oregonian. She has asked if they'd be willing to offer delivery of multiple Sunday papers to subscribers. So far, no luck, but they're mounting a campaign to find out how much interest there might be in this idea.

Did You Get Your Free Doughnut Yesterday?

Well, I did! I took my son to Krispy Kreme for National Doughnut Day to pick up our free doughnuts as a special breakfast treat! As you can see, Jack enjoyed his chocolate iced with sprinkles very much! (Don't you love the red glow from the "Hot Donuts Now" sign?)

I've Been Busy...

I know, my posts to this blog have been sporadic this entire month! Thank you for sticking with me while I get back into the swing of things after an incredibly busy May! I won't bore you with all the details, but suffice it to say, it's been hectic to say the least. I promise I'll be more reliable at getting you the best deals around town and around the web.

Tomorrow starts a new week of grocery store ads, so let's hope for some amazing deals to keep us going!

Wow, this has been one crazy week! You know the saying, "When it rains, it pours!" That has certainly been the case for me!

Welcome to my blog!

I've finally taken the blog plunge! I've been thinking about it and several people have suggested that I do it, so here goes! I can't promise that I'll get a post out every day right away, but I'll do my best.

Last year I started couponing with a vengeance and I'm completely hooked. Hopefully I can pass them on to you through this blog. I'll pass on sweet local and online deals, links to great coupons and freebies, and maybe just a random post here and there.
