Free Bug Spray at Fred Meyer

Want to find a place to use that great $2 off Cutter Insect Repellant from the 5/31 SS insert? If you didn't use them up at Walgreens last week (mine didn't have it on sale, though some others did), Fred Meyer has the 1 oz. Cutter Advanced Pump Spray for $1.99. This is their regular price (not on sale), so there's no hurry. I bought 4 the other day and the cashier had no problem adjusting the coupon down to match the price. All cashiers are different, so YMMV (your mileage may vary).

Printable Store Coupons

Did you know that you can print some store coupons online? Many stores have coupons on their websites that are not available anywhere else. (Remember, store coupons can be used in conjunction with manufacturer's coupons.)

Safeway

Target (this is a coupon generator from OrganicGroceryDeals.com - scroll down and you'll see the area where you can choose how many of each coupon you want to print)

Walgreens (only a few are store coupons - they say "Walgreens" on them)

At Fred Meyer there are kiosks located right inside the grocery entrance (huge yellow ones) where you can print in-store coupons valid for one day only. These vary all the time, but it's worth checking into!

I've been to Fred Meyer a couple of times this past week to pick up some great deals, most of which are valid through May 26:

Use the $2.50/1 coupon (can't find reference to what insert it's from)

Final price: $0.49

Finish Quantum Dishwashing Tablets (12-ct. or 15-ct. bonus) $1.25

Use $1.00/1 coupon (I got a bunch of these from a tear-off pad a while back)

Coppertone Sunscreen sticks $3.99

Use $4.00/1 coupons hanging near the product

Final price: FREE

I've done this deal 4 times and have had no problems. The cashier has always pushed the coupon through, even though it beeps when they scan it.

Kellogg's NutriGrain Bars $2.13 (buy 2)

Use $1/1 6-pack or larger bottled water found in a Kellogg's booklet on the NutriGrain display

Get a great deal on bottled water (and the bars are a great price, too!)

Oroweat Bread $2.00 or Hamburger Buns $2.50

Use $1/1 coupon from the 3/15 SS insert

Final price: $1.00 - $1.50

Coupon Alert!

While shopping at Fred Meyer today I spotted some small purple boxes near the Cottonelle Ultra. They were hanging where those blinking coupon dispensers usually hang. Inside were samples of Cottonelle Ultra (no big deal there); on the back was a coupon for $1.00 off a 4-pack (or larger)! They must have just put these coupons out, because there were tons left. I snagged a few, and will add them to my stash. They don't expire until 12/31/09!

Next time you're at Freddies, see if you can grab a few for your stash, then wait for a sale. You could use them at Albertsons when they have double coupons, or at Kmart when they have a double coupon event. There will surely be a great deal before the end of 2009!
